Newspapers and Websites that abuse Fairuse and need to be avoided for the sake of your pocketbook

The following is a list of newspapers and websites that have been engaged in selling copy rights to artices or post that they have on their various properties to third parties that are then going after the blog/forum/website owners for what user are posting online. This is against the very concept of fairuse which is:

FAIR USE - Fair use is a limitation on the exclusive rights of the copyright owner; in other words, it allows reasonable public access to copyrighted works.
The idea is an important part of the English common-law tradition.
Why does FAIR USE exist?
FAIR USE allows people to use images and written works without compensating the original writer/creator, as long as they act in good faith and do not profit from reproducing the work. Education, parody, criticism, news reporting, etc are all examples of fair use.
The idea of FAIR USE has guided the use of reproductions of works for years.

So the question is why do the following websites and below them Newspapers engage in what comes down to copyright trolling? Do they think they can do this and do they not think that 234 years later everyone would forget why this country was founded (at considerable expense of the Native Americans) and that we would just lay down and take it.

Hmmmmmmmm. Big Idea huh.............well! Let's start to break it down

Fair use is a doctrine in United States copyright law that allows limited use of copyrighted material without requiring permission from the rights holders, such as for commentary, criticism, news reporting, research, teaching or scholarship. It provides for the legal, non-licensed citation or incorporation of copyrighted material in another author's work under a four-factor balancing test.
